Unions

Destroying Unions.

Since the demise of Unions in America, the people who offer bribes have become more powerful and don't want any groups to stand in their way. They want a workforce that they can pay very little. That's why they sent jobs overseas. The only Unions that still exist in the United States are for rich people like sports teams (millionaires working for billionaires). Other Unions, like police unions, only exist because the bribe system works.

In the United States, millions of workers earn very little because the political system is corrupt and accepts bribes. People are worried about the difference between how much money people make and how much they own. Two people own more wealth than 42% of the population combined. "The 1%" own a lot of companies. Two of these companies, Black Rock and State Street Vanguard, control $20 trillion in assets and hundreds of corporations. This is called an oligarchy. If we don't stand up and demand a government that represents working people and the middle class, we should worry about the future of our country.

Many people in America are starting to realize that companies need workers to make money. For the past 50 years, workers who actually make and profit from products have earned very little. Even Republicans who have been taught to think a certain way are starting to see this.

Companies are happy to show support for social justice, but they are also mistreating black and brown workers in their warehouses. These companies use racial slurs against workers and work hard to stop them from forming unions. It's clear from their actions that they don't really care about social justice.

In 2018 the Republicans gave billionaires a $2 TRILLION tax cut because they “create” jobs. Here is an example of the layoffs billionaires have and are doing in 2023:

Meta 11,000 fired

Amazon 10,000 fired

Twitter   3,700 fired

Salesforce   2,000 fired

Netflix     450 fired

Robinhood 30% of the workforce fired

Intel 20% of the workforce fired

Snap 20% of the workforce fired

Trickle-down economics is one Big Fat Scam to destroy Unions!
